CAPACITY Church is a transformational church plant with its founding location in Nashville, TN. Travis Chavis (chay-vis) and Kendra Ketter Chavis were called to form CAPACITY as a next generation church for all generations, where the lifestyle developed is of people always learning, always growing into their full capacity, and always serving with gladness. We desire to always be a forward-thinking creative space for God to be honored in every area, with every gift - partnered with a healthy honor for who the Church has historically been to communities. That also means an unbridled re-imagination of the method, with a clear-eyed view on the unwavering Message:
Jesus always.

OVER THE COURSE OF 21 YEARS DOING LIFE TOGETHER, ONE OF THE MANY TIES THAT BIND OUR PASTORS TOGETHER IS THEIR MUTUAL LOVE FOR PEOPLE, AND THE HEART TO PARTNER IN GROWTH. IT IS THIS TIE THAT MAKES CAPACITY NO BIG SURPRISE IN THEIR CALL AS A FAMILY: SERVING GOD'S CHURCH, EMPOWERING THE VULNERABLE, AND EXPANDING PEOPLE'S UNDERSTANDING OF WHO THEY ARE AND WHO JESUS IS. THE WORK OF LOVING PEOPLE IS THE WORK THEY'VE COMMITTED THEIR WORDS AND ACTIONS TO...FOR GENERATIONS...FOR REAL.
CAPACITY CHURCH IS WHERE GOD IS CALLING PEOPLE TO BE EXPOSED TO THE POWER OF GOD IN AND THROUGH THEM. WITH GOD, WE ARE MADE MORE THAN ABLE TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE, EXPECT THE UNBELIEVABLE, WALK IN DIVINE INNOVATION, AND WATCH GOD CHANGE HEARTS AND LIVES FOREVER.
